    Current designing experiences are involved mainly ‘doing’ – by practicing to still learn styles that each person will respond better to. I essentially sat down with the software to create things until I got better. Whenever I felt needed to learn each time, I can’t figure out myself through trial and error.

    So the research I do in Google search is the part of my self-teaching. These search engines tends to revolve around the technical things one has to learn when printing to learn a layout for design, one has to ensure that the layout specifically on illustrative learning, that is to study on the technical ability of other illustrators.

    If I wanted to achieve the appearance of ‘glossy tips’ for any fashion character then I used to stare at the different works of the top Illustrator and learn from them how they achieve these sorts of effects. One should look at the creative Inspiration of other designers to avoid becoming stale.

    There are three kinds of learners:

    • One who learns through seeing? They need to see the body language and also the facial expression of tutors. To learn the best from Visual learning aids such as diagrams tutorials with screen grabs will be perfect.
    • The person who learns through listening to a lecturer or mentor get verbalized on that topic. They love to hear and get struggling with the information in written form. For these kind of learners, tutorials are worth when it is auditory or visual podcasts.
    • There are another learners through reading things which is ideal. It is easy to learn quickly and better. This type of learner prefers hand on approach and it takes long period and may sometimes get distraction. I must say that tiring oneself is difficult task to sit for over a period of time. One has to decide on what sort to learn before starting into practice, no matter what type of learner you are. Just keep practicing and never stop practicing.

    There are many reputable Institutions which offers certificate for the graphic design course, that is least expensive and can be finished in short period of time. There are online Graphic Design Courses that are good rather than Photoshop and Quark, but a real Graphic designing Aesthetics Course. Web design course with Open University are available.

    For self learners on graphic design, I would like to suggest:

    • Practice is the key to learning; one should practice with sample design Briefs.
    • One must learn Photoshop, Quark and Illustrator.
    • Finally concluding that, graphic designing is gathering details on a layout pad and not borrowing ideas from Google.

    It is an appreciation of having a decent typeface, colour theory and understanding of layout.

    Thrashing ideas to decide the clients needs, what is going to be the budget, what is going to stand out from the rest of the market and more importantly what will look best.

    So go ahead with current Illustrator trends..Graphic Designs are about ideas, pure and simple. They don’t come in this freelance World..which means money and increase your cost and time if you go with the latest Software.

    My Top Tips For Outsourcing Work on The Internet

     

    My first foray into outsourcing was before I even knew anything about internet marketing.

    I had read a blog post  and it blew my mind that I could hire people in

    India to work for me…all without leaving my apartment.

     

    I had an internship at the time for a gym down in and one of my assignments was to create a calendar of all upcoming gym-related events.

    In a moment of genius (or laziness), I decided to try out this whole “outsourcing” thing to create our events calendar.

     

    I gave instructions patiently and waited for my calendar to be completed.

     

    48 hours later, it was done — and done EXACTLY to my specifications. Which was awesome. I know that a lot of people have outsourcing horror stories

    but my first experience was flawless. Needless to say – I was hooked.

     

    I am happy with the outsourcing hundreds of projects to people all over the world, from Romania, to the Philippines, and to India.

    I’ve had logos designed, websites created, apps coded, linkbuilding done, and so much more that I can’t even remember at this point.

    Know What You Want

    To outsource successfully the most important key  is knowing EXACTLY what you want.

    One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when they outsource is that they give vague instructions, and expect the person they are

    outsourcing as well as understand exactly what it is that they want.

    The simple fact is this: no one is going to understand your vision unless you tell them explicitly what your vision is.

    just the saying “Make it kind of look this” without providing specifics, you are likely to be disappointed with the results.

    This mistake usually ends with you wasting a ton of time trying to get your project right.

    So, in order to avoid this, you need to figure out exactly what it is that you want done.

    If you want a website designed in a certain way – do a wireframe (I will literally draw it out on a piece of paper, scan it,

    and e-mail it to my designer). If you want a piece of software or an app to provide a certain function, make sure that it is outlined completely

    before you ask the outsourcer to do the work. For logos, provide examples of what you’re looking for with specific instructions.

     

    When they start outsourcing a lot of people make this mistake  — and it almost always ends poorly.

    So make sure that you take the time to figure out exactly what it is that you want your outsourcer to do, before you ask them to do anything.

    And, along these lines, you want to make sure you’re very specific in your job description as to what you are looking for.

     

    Where To Find People To Work For You

    There’s a couple of great sources to find employees online, and I’ll outline a few here:

     

    1. While my experience is relatively limited, I have had quite a bit of success with the

    employees I’ve hired from there. They are usually the cheapest, but they provide good quality work. It also has internal time tracking,

    and will take screenshots of your employees desktop while they work, so that you know they are on task.

     

    1. I’ve had the most experience with people, and out of all of the sites that I’ve worked with,

    it’s been consistently the highest quality. While the workers here are usually on the more expensive side, you

    definitely get what you pay for. I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone that I’ve hired from this work.

     

    1. While not really “Outsourcing” as is generally local people,

    I still list it here as it is a very, very useful resource for finding employees. You can still get cheap work, and depending on how

    big of a city you live in, you can usually get responses very quickly. However, I will say that this is best for finding employees that are local

    (that you will see face-to-face) as does not protect you like if you are just hiring someone to work for you online.

  • 6 ways To Maintain an Efficient Email List – Part 1

    Email Marketing eats a huge chunk of business’ budget, additionally, no one wants to be bothered by unwanted spams. If a lot of your mails land up in spam folder or straight to junk without being opened, it can be very damaging to your business. You can even be marked as an official “spammer”.

    Even after creating an exhaustive list of accounts to broadcast your mails, your task is still far from over. Your mailing list needs to be maintained so that your subscribers embrace your mails with open hands.

    Here is the continuation of our list for maintaining an efficient email list:

     

    1. Remove Accounts which seem Fake and Spam

    This tip is again focussed on the wisdom that the quality of mailing list dominates over its size. A list of Email IDs that do not even engage with your email is as good as junk. Right people targeted carefully are going to read to Email anyways. They might even convert by clicking on the links and eventually turn into prospective leads.

    But the problem is that most mailing lists are full of phantom or Spam accounts. Most of the Email marketing and Automation softwares automatically remove spam profiles by applying SPF, DKIM and DMARC protocols.  For clearing out such useless accounts- Look for common signs of spammers with email addresses that look like “sales@somecompany.com”. This is an example of custom domain addresses and you are probably never going to get a response from them.

     

    1. Monitor and Minimize Bounce Rate

     

    Bounce rates means the percentage of emails that do not get delivered and bounce back to the sender. There are two types of email Bounces, hard and soft. Hard bounce means that the email you send is returned from the recipient’s email server, while in latter, the email is accepted by the recipient’s server but returned from the subscriber.

     

    A high bounce rate can blow up the ROI of your campaign. Investigate the reason of Bounce, which may be a result of spam account or an incorrect email address. It may be a server issue sometimes and trying at a later time may resolve the issue. If the problem still persists, delete the account from the mailing list right away. A high bounce rate can officially get you marked as a spammer. Clear these questions beforehand if you are planning to buy an email automation software.

     

    1. Rectify Common Spelling Error from Email Accounts

    This is an additional tip which is otherwise not recommended but is very effective for a small or 1000 something mailing list. Sometimes your subscribers might have intention and enthusiasm to join your list but simply made an error in hurry.

     

    All Email Databases have some accounts which are spelled incorrectly.  You would have come across email addresses with domain names like “gmal” or “yoohoo”. Either delete these accounts of edit the domain names to reduce the bounce rates or better still, reach the correct inbox.

     

    Mailing lists are the most widely used weapon for Digital Marketing. With Emails your product reaches the audience directly. Though collecting data for subscribers is a huge task in itself but that list must be properly maintained to reach a good quality consumer base. Apply the above hacks, and you would not need complain. At all.
